"My new project." - posted by Sycada on Sunday, 25th August 2002.

Oh my god! An update! So what is it? Well it's news on my latest endeavour. The UT mod I was making has proven impossible to accomplish because I was focusing on a rich single player experience and while quite a lot of progress was made, UT doesn't cater for such things without heavy coding. Instead I've taken a rather drastic change of scene from haunting action adventures to a bright and colourful point and click adventure.

This new project entitled 'Chester and the Dimension of Dread' is a point and click adventure game in the tradition of games such as Day of the Tentacle and Curse of Monkey Island. If you'd like to learn more you can visit the website at: http://wake.adventuredevelopers.com
Info on the project as well as a test demo is available there so check it out and tell me what you think :)

"Files are back." - posted by Sycada on Tuesday, 1st January 2002.

Thanks to Grimlock and his great FTP, the files for AoG and MotU are back online. Happy New Year.

"Downloads are down again.." - posted by Sycada on Sunday, 30th December 2001.

I'm sorry to say that the downloads for the AoG add-ons are down again. The review centre on Raven-Games.com where they were housed has been removed and the files will be back up shortly.

"Email change ." - posted by Sycada on Saturday, 22nd December 2001.

A quick note to let you know that my email address has changed. It is now sycada@iprimus.com.au
If you need to contact me about the AoG Saga then use this email address and not the one stated in the AoG and MotU documents that come with the add-ons.
In other news, the projects that I have been working on have gone stlightly astray, firstly Prison Infinity was canned because of certain members who shall remain nameless not doing their jobs. The remainder of us who still wanted to do something began a new project called The Elemental but that is being held back until Unreal 2 comes out so in the mean time I am doing my own mini-project using Unreal Tournament. It will be single player and quite short with the emphasis on detailed levels and cool events. I don't know how it will turn out but I know it'll see the light of day in some form or another because I'm doing it on my own :) Here's a very early screenshot for you to look at :)
Merry Christmas everyone :) And have a happy and safe new year!

"MotU Walk-through is Done." - posted by Sycada on Sunday, 14th October 2001.

The walk-through for MotU is now online. I had to rewrite it from scratch after I lost the original. There may be some grammatical errors but I don't have time to go over it right now. If there are I'll fix them after my college year is over (4 weeks).

"Downloads are back." - posted by Sycada on Friday, 5th October 2001.

At long last the downloads for AoG and MotU are back online so you can get them again. Now you can even leave a review or vote for them while you're there.

"Downloads are down AGAIN." - posted by Sycada on Tuesday, 25th September 2001.

I'm afraid that yet again, the downloads are not online. The system in which the files are stored was changed again and is having problems so there's nothing I can do until they fix it. As soon as they do then I'll let you know so you can get them.

"AoG Hits Cult Status." - posted by Sycada on Tuesday, 28th August 2001.

Who would have thought a Heretic II add-on could get this kind of attention.
The upcoming cover of the German Amiga magazine: Amiga Future, will feature AoG plastered all over the front cover! It seems that having Heretic II ported to Amiga was an unexpected blessing. Inside I believe there will be a review of AoG and a short interview with myself. German readers, look for it next month.
Those of you who are having trouble downloading AoG and MotU I have put an explanation of how to do so on the downloads pages if you're stuck.
Prison Infinity is in a limbo at the moment. It's still going ahead but until some other things get done I can't do any mapping :( oh well.

"Downloads are back!" - posted by Sycada on Sunday, 1st July 2001.

The downloads have returned so you can all stop e-mailing me about them now :) If there is a problem however then let me know and I'll get right on it.
Please note though that if when downloading the files it tries to download a html file then instead of choosing the 'download to disk' option select 'open file from location' and at the next prompt choose 'save to disk'.
In Prison Infinity news, there have been a lot of changes but the design looks like it's really shaping into something special. A new website will be up soon and when it is then I'll post the link here.

"Downloads are down" - posted by Sycada on Thursday, 21st June 2001.

Due to the move that Raven-games has been undergoing, the Downloads for AoG and MotU are down until further notice. Let's hope that they are back soon.

"Download Links Fixed" - posted by maXX09 on Tuesday, 17th April 2001.

All the download links to AOG and Maw of the umbra are now fixed. Thanks to Lenny for pointing this out!
